About
Mockingbird is a Fire Emblem Fanzine dedicated to Yuri Leclerc from Fire Emblem: Three Houses/Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes!This zine plans to feature Yuri in any shape or form our contributors wish, including but not limited to ships, AUs, and both canon-compliant and non-compliant media. Thematically, as long as it centers Yuri, anything goes! We aim to feature 20-25 artists, 10 writers, and a small team of merchandise artists! This will be a physical and digital zine with a side digital NSFW zine.Our profits will go towards supporting the National Center for Transgender Equality.

Application Information
Artists
✧ For perspective artists, we are looking for 3-4 samples of artwork along with a portfolio.
✧ We require that all pieces are completed works and that at least one piece is FE3H-centric.
✧ Judging of samples will be based on composition, use of colour, among other factors.
Writers
✧ For perspective writers, we are looking for 3-4 samples of writing between 1k and 4k, along with a portfolio.
✧ We require that at least one piece is completed and another is FE3H-centric.
✧ Judging of samples will be based on characterisation, pacing,and other factors.
Merch Artist
✧ For perspective merch artists, we are looking for 3-4 samples of artwork along with a portfolio.
✧ We require that all pieces are completed works. Previous experience is not required.
✧ Judging of samples will be based on composition, use of colour, among other factors.
Alternative Media
✧ For perspective alternative media artists, we are looking for 3-4 samples of previous work along with a portfolio.
✧ Judging will vary based on the form of alternative media.

What charity are you supporting? The National Center for Transgender Equality!
What contributors are you looking for? We will be asking for artists, writers, merch artists, and alternative media creators.
Will I need a Discord? All communication will be handled through Discord. A Discord account will be mandatory.
Will typical NSFW content (ex: smut) be included in the zine? NSFW content will not be allowed in the main zine, but it is allowed for the digital NSFW side zine.
Can I apply for multiple positions? Yes!
What will be the contributor's compensation? All contributors will be given a free copy of the digital PDF, and if funds from sale suffice, a physical copy of the zine as well as merch. Any products the zine is unable to fund will be sold to contributors at production cost.
Will you be allowing ship content? Yes, we will!
Will traditional art be allowed to be submitted? Traditional art will be allowed. If you choose to send in traditional art, high quality resolution scans or photos will be mandatory- as well as the ability to edit the image for optimization to print.
May I post my art online? We ask that all art be refrained from any social media until after the zine is delivered to buyers.
May I use a beta or have someone else look over my work? Of course! You can use a beta outside the zine, but our Writing Mod will also be reading over every piece and leaving critique.
May I post my work to Archive of Our Own or Fanfiction.net? We ask that everyone holds on their work until after the zine is delivered to buyers.

Hi! Unlike other zines I've worked on, I've actually played FE3H, so this should be fun. I think it's hilarious of IntSys to let fans stew in petty arguments about who the most valid bestest FE3H boy is and then release Yuri, who is way prettier than any character in the base game. That was absolutely on purpose.
